Upplandsleden trail

Upplandsleden - nice hike near Stockholm, Uppsala and Västerås.

Upplandsleden is the hiking trail that extends over large parts of Uppland, close to Stockholm and Uppsala. In Fjärdhundraland there are some really nice stages, and you can hike from Lake Mälaren in the south to Färnebofjärden in the north. Along the way you can visit cafes, farm shops and accommodation.

Upplandsleden - hiking through the heart of Fjärdhundraland! Here you are treading historic ground, just like the people of the Viking Age, who walked barefoot on the ridges towards Enköping and Lake Mälaren. The sections of the Upplandsleden through Fjärdhundraland offer varied hiking through the agricultural landscape, through nature reserves and forests.
