A thousand small junctions and a tangle of small roads that have been there since ancient times, lined with rune stones, small medieval churches, cafés and farm shops. In short, a paradise for those who like to discover and cycle.
There are nice paved, moderately curvy roads for those who like to pedal fast, and slow routes for those who want to enjoy the birdsong and the scent of roadside flowers.

Along the routes there are audio guidance in English, Swedish and German using the app Storyspot. Download the app and get stories along the way!
Keep in mind that you can download the routes as gpx files and use them in your gps app, such as MapMyRide, Komoot, Runtastic, Endomondo, Bikemap or Strava.

There are also good sections of the major cycling routes. Sverigeleden and Mälardalsleden. They can often be combined with one or more of the rounds in Fjärdhundraland.

Mälardalsleden
Cycle around Mälaren! You pass town after town and enjoy the countryside – all the more so when you're on a bike. In Fjärdhundraland, the trail makes several detours, and connects in the north to the Sverigeleden, so that it is possible to both continue towards Dalarna and take a tour in Fjärdhundraland.

The Sverigeleden is a system of cycle paths of a total of 9,500 kilometers throughout Sweden. Stage 18 offers food, culture and nature in Fjärdhundraland.

Fjärdhundralandsturen
The Fjärdhundraland tour is our cycle route through the core of our area. The stage is 38 km long and runs between Fjärdhundra and Örsundsbro, on fine roads with good opportunities for coffee breaks, detours or a swim.

A round trip of about 2 miles, to cycle or hike. Starting and stopping in Örsundsbro - with coffee breaks, medieval churches, rune stones and swimming along the way. Could it get any better?

An easy and pleasant bike ride of 24 km that suits everyone, with start and stop in Örsundsbro. There you can take the bus from Uppsala and Enköping. Easy as pie!
