Sverigeleden stage 18 - close to food, nature and culture

Sverigeleden is a system of cycle paths totaling 9,500 kilometers throughout Sweden. Stage 18 offers food, culture and nature in Fjärdhundraland.

The stage goes through Fjärdhundraland, from Stockholm to Dalarna via Uppsala and Sala. In this part of the trail you can enjoy beautiful scenery and proximity to cafes, farm shops and fine accommodation.

Fjärdhundraland's cycle paths are mostly small, winding and go through rolling open farmland. There are many opportunities for detours - there are many beautiful routes to choose from. We have several suggestions that connect to the Sverigeleden among our bicycle routes.

Cycle the Sverigeleden from Uppsala and Stockholm to Dalarna

Here we show the part of the Sverigeleden that goes through our area, but the trail connects to Stockholm in the southeast and Torsång (south of Borlänge) in the northwest, a trip of about 300 km. There it connects to other stages. Many opportunities for long-distance cycling, that is!
