The nature reserve Hjälstaviken is one of Sweden's finest bird lakes. At the shallow and sprawling lake you can see the bird all year round, with peaks in the migration times during spring and autumn. Hjälstaviken offers nature experiences of many kinds. From the high Kvarn mountain on the east side you have a wide view. Blooming sips of all kinds are plenty in the Parnasse desert area. You can also follow the hiking trail around the lake.
