This is Bålstaborna's own swimming paradise, so expect a lot of people on sunny days. There are several piers (one of which is accessible), changing rooms, toilets and a barbecue area.
If you want to swim in the winter, it is usually fine in Kalmarsand.
At one end of the beach there is a dog bath.
