Day trip in Fjärdhundraland.
Guided tour of Enköping's parks. The tour goes through some of the many parks and the guide talks about plants, design and the characteristics of the different locations. The tour ends in Drömparken, created by Piet Oudolf, a world-famous gardener known for his spectacular compositions of tall and colorful perennials.
After the guided tour in Enköping's parks, the journey goes north in the beautiful landscape towards Fjärdhundraland and Landsberga farm shop. There is a lunch where the raw materials primarily come from the own farm.
At Landsberga, flour is ground in its own stone mill from grain grown in the fields around the farm. In the pastures there are also happy outdoor chickens that live in a modern henhouse with an associated egg packing plant. You can see the chickens for yourself, from a safe distance, as they roam freely and peck in their large coop. It is located on the other side of the highway from the farm shop.
After lunch there is plenty of time to enjoy the environment at Landsberga and shop in the farm shop. Here you will find locally produced meat products, sausages, eggs and charcuterie, a rich selection of dairy products, cheeses, marmalades, flour, juices and jams, crispbread and seasonal vegetables, chocolate and pastries. Also crafts. Everything is produced locally.
Afternoon coffee is served in the granary, the good coffee bread is of course baked from the farm's own products.
