Wik castle looks like a castle from a storybook where it is nestled in a large park right next to lake Mälaren. The well-preserved castle dating from the 15th century gives the place a lot of atmosphere. The whole Wik area is a really nice excursion destination, here you can swim, walk around the large nature park or just relax on a lawn.
Kojbyggarlandet, ”Hut builders’ land" sets the imagination of all children in motion. It is located on the hiking trail along the water (marked on the map). In the Kojbyggarlandet everyone can build huts of their own design. There are ready-made branches that you can quickly create your own nest from.
On business days, Wik is a conference centre, but during the year a number of courses and events are also organised, such as a harvest market. Private individuals can book experience packages with family or friends, perhaps chocolate tasting or cooking with the castle chef? Celebrating weddings or other festivities in the romantic setting is also memorable. Four hotel buildings with a total of 86 beds mean that you can be a big group!
At Wik's castle you can also buy the castles own honey, homemade must and jams and other local produce.
