Buying tools and machinery second-hand is a great idea for both your wallet and the environment. Brukbar is Sweden's first circular hardware store and was founded to promote a circular economy where products are reused and extended instead of being thrown away and replaced with new ones.
In the spacious shop you will find all kinds of tools, both new and old, but also lamps, curtain rods, door handles and much more. And the screws are sold in bulk by the hectogram. How many times have you needed, say, 30 screws of a particular dimension and discovered that the package at the hardware store contains 500? Then it's better to go to Brukbar!
The range of used tools is carefully selected and the shop checks and tests each tool to ensure they are in good condition and working properly. If you have tools and machines at home that you no longer use, you can drop them off and sell them to Usable. Again, it's a win-win situation - you get more space at home and someone else benefits from what you no longer need.
In the shop you can also buy products from Aunt Gul and A few square metres of life.
