Thorsvi Farm is an old, traditional manor house not far from Lake Mälaren. The Hermelin family has lived on the farm since 1863 and today it is owned by Kerstin and Johan Hermelin. They have big plans and would like the farm to buzz with life in the same way as in the past. So far there are two nice accommodation options, a small farm shop and the possibility of an unforgettable wedding celebration.
You can choose to stay in the Forge or the Suite. Both are charmingly elegant and offer a first-class accommodation for those who want to spend a few days with comfortable country life. Kerstin works as an interior stylist and has put a lot of focus on details that make the little extra.
When you come to the farm as a guest, you don't need to have any preconceived plans. Stroll in the woods and snuggle in front of the fire, or go on an excursion and cook a delicious dinner to end the day. The swimming area is less than a kilometer away and there are bicycles to borrow. If you get an ice cream craving, just stroll over to the small farm shop and sit down on a bale of straw and enjoy the taste.
It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a rural romantic wedding! Just a stone's throw from the mansion is the adorable little Torsvi Church, a 13th century stone church that can accommodate 50 people. The wedding party is held in one of the 18th century wings.
