Welcome to Tantverket in Grillby on the Creative Round! We are a bunch of aunts who devote ourselves to various crafts, especially textiles.Open both days Oct 19-20 at 10-16. Here you can try your hand at carding and spinning wool, needle tatting, lace making, braiding ribbons, weaving in a table loom, knitting and crocheting. The person behind A la my style is called Jenny and she works with reusing fabrics that are sewn into kimonos/caftans, bags etc. Reusing different materials is something that has probably always been with me in one way or another. A la my style is located in Torstuna-Nibble 8 where I have a showroom / farm shop that I opened this May. But now on the Creative Round, I will be in the school hall in Tibble old school where Atelje L U P P has its shop / studio. There I will blah. to block print on fabrics, my kimonos etc. will be for sale. Welcome to Smedslätten Arts and Crafts on the Creative Round. Here is an exhibition of my textile artwork. I find my inspiration in nature among pines, mosses and at the rocks of Lake Mälaren. Through tapestries and embroidery, I create both images and texts where I try to capture and express all the beauty we have around us. A common thread for me is to find the meaningful, what really matters. With a huge amount of threads, I then create weaves and embroideries of my texts and images.During the Creative Round, I show my pictures and texts in the old log house at home on the farm.
