Schillströms Hantverksbageri is located in Gamla Bålsta, where sweet and sourdough breads are baked using cultural grains. Jessica and Natalia, who run the bakery, had long dreamed of starting their own place that they could put their own stamp on. The bakery has been open since November 2023 and the two bakers are enjoying their business.
Both of them have extensive experience in the industry, which was demonstrated not least when they won two gold medals and a best in class in the Swedish Crafts Championship in 2024. They are very quality conscious and use organic and local ingredients as much as possible. Much of the flour comes from Jädra vicarage.
At the bakery you can also have breakfast and a light lunch or have a coffee break with buns, pastries and cakes.
You can also order cake, there is a fixed selection that changes according to the season and what is available during the seasons.
