At Koekies Dutch Fika you can buy homemade Dutch pastries, and Agnes van Ginkel and her family moved from Holland to Sweden in 2021 and enjoy living in the countryside where they have the space to realize their dreams. Agnes has been working as a pastry chef in the Netherlands for twenty years and she wanted to start her own bakery with Dutch pastries.
She makes Stroopwafels, of course, perhaps the most famous Dutch cookie. But you can also try, among others Stuffed cakes, Butter biscuit cubes, Apple cakes, Bossche bulbs or the more moderate ones Sausage roll and Sausage rolls. Everything is homemade crafts with local ingredients.
Agnes participates in many local markets and sells at the REKO rings in Enköping, Upplands Bro, Uppsala and Knivsta. You can also order the entire range at koekies.se where you can also order custom-made cakes.
Koekies Room and Coffee
Koekies also has a cottage for rent. Stay in the countryside a few kilometers south of Grillby, between Enköping and Bålsta. The small house has a double bed and a single bed for a small child. There is a shower and toilet, as well as a kitchen and a large terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful view while enjoying freshly baked coffee from the in-house bakery.
