The hometown association in Husby-Sjutolft has no hometown farm to care for and maintain, but instead they put their power on events and excursions in the area. If they need a local, they rent themselves in Husby-Sjutolftsgården next to the church. There they arrange Christmas tree looting, midsummer celebrations, tractor day and much more. Every year they also organize bicycle excursions in the countryside.
The association has talented and knowledgeable members, so they can conduct guided tours on, among other things, the rune stones of the area, Hjälstaviken's bird life and Albertus Pictor paintings in Husby-Sjutolft's church.
