Tord and Heléne had a dream of a place that would inspire a sustainable and meaningful life. Since moving to Herresta in 2012, they have worked hard to create a beautiful gathering place where people thrive and feel good. Now it is possible to stay, celebrate weddings, have conferences, attend courses and much more. Ever since the start, the cozy Christmas markets with pop-up café have been a crowd puller.
Herresta lada is located midway between Stockholm and Uppsala, but is also rural and quietly situated in an ancient cultural landscape with beautiful views. Everything that Heléne and Tord do is permeated by their interests and values. Right now, they are particularly passionate about creating a place of inspiration for biodiversity.
At Herresta lada you can hold conferences or training sessions where the group has the entire facility to itself. There is a café and restaurant area, two conference rooms, several beautiful patios and an orangery with sweeping views. You can also celebrate weddings or have other festivities on the farm. The ceremony itself can take place at the beautiful wedding site and the dinner and party in the barn you tailor to your own head. The rent includes garden areas, furniture and crockery, while you arrange food and drink yourself.
On the upper floor of the barn there are five cozy overnight rooms. The rooms include a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, a large and cozy living room and a fresh toilet and shower area. Free Wi-Fi is included and there is secure parking right next to the accommodation.
Tord and Heléne regularly organize various lectures and courses in the areas of health, personal development and joy of life. For example, yoga, meditation, park courses, improvisational theater, horticulture, beer tasting, cooking evenings or philosophical conversations. Activities take place both in-house and through various partnerships.
Another important part of the activities at Herresta lada is longstay accommodation for businesses. They also offer hot storage and vehicle storage. Read more about it at herrestastorage.se
