Frösthult's church is a medieval church that was equipped with towers in the 1840s.
Interestingly, John Campaniu's tomb is inside the church. In the 1640s, he was a missionary among the Indians in the colony of new Sweden and drafted a dictionary of the Indians' languages. He also translated Luther's little catechesis into the Indian language. Later in life he became vicar of Frösthult. read more about Johannes Campanius
