On the Tullen farm, Ellen will start growing vegetables and flowers for sale in 2024. It is a small-scale cultivation with a strong focus on sustainability where she works based on the idea that food should be grown non-toxic, locally and in harmony with nature.
The farm is run according to organic principles, although it is not yet certified organic. This means, among other things, that the fertilizer comes from the farm's own compost and from the farm's flock of chickens. The hens, of the old country breed Skånsk Blomme, also contribute eggs, which are available for sale.
Grönsakerna säljs i huvudsak på REKO-ringar i och runt Enköping och i en liten butik på gården. Du kan även prenumerera på grönsakskassar med hemleverans inom Enköping från juni 2024 och komplettera kassarna med blommor eller ägg.
Ellen also sews children's clothes which she sells on Instagram under the brand name of Little Södersätra.
