Welcome to Fjärdhundraland in the beautiful colors of autumn! Fjärdhundraland's creators invite you, your family and friends to an excursion into the world of creation!
On Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 11 am to 5 pm, local artisans and creative businesses will be open for creative encounters.
You will have the opportunity to visit workshops and see how objects are made, and with some of the participants you can even try your hand at it.
Candle makers, weavers, artists and ceramists with different specializations are examples of activities that welcome you. Make one or more visits and get inspired! Take the opportunity to shop, eat and drink and experience our beautiful countryside in a new way!

What you will find here: Open in my artist's home! Studio, gallery & shop. Showing oil paintings and graphic prints. I am happy to tell you about my painting, artistry and business. There are also sales of oil paintings and graphic prints. Trays and pillows with my own motifs and hand-picked items from various local partners.

Studio Lupp in Tibble gamla Skola.

What you will find here: In my studio in Tibble gamla skola I work with both ceramic forms and visual art. I also hold ceramic courses for both adults and children. During the day you will be welcomed into the studio and see how the production of ceramic objects can look like. There will also be the opportunity to try creating in clay, see info about pre-registration and fee below.
During the day, my little studio shop is open. In the shop I sell stoneware dishes and candlesticks, among other things.
Try it out: Try rolling a small dish or bowl in stoneware clay. Your work is then fired and glazed by me and you pick it up in Tibble gamla Skola after about 2 weeks.

What you will find here: DH Keramik, run by Diana Hallberg since 2020. With me you will find ceramics that I have created and you can also try the hand-building techniques thumbing and rolling.
The shop is open, selling handmade ceramics.
Try it out: You get a piece of clay to create with during a session that you book via my website. What you create is dried and later fired in white glaze. When it is finished, you come and pick up your work.

What you will find here: Glada Fåret has small-scale breeding of the Swedish farm breed Finullsfår. My name is Titti and I like everything we get from the sheep. During the day we focus on the soft range and I will show the wool's path from sheep to shawl. During the day I will show how to shear a sheep and sew sheepskin. Please come and feel the soft, shiny quality that you get from fine wool. I have worked a lot with my own and other people's sheep, so feel free to come by and talk wool and sheep with me.
Sale: All the soft things from the sheep: lamb and sheepskins of different sizes and qualities, yarn, carding, raw wool, garden wool, knitting kits of the baby series Knodd, etc.
Viewing: 11.30 and 16.00 Sheep shearing and wool handling/sorting with Titti, who has several wool champions in her herd.
Serving: By the fire, we will serve smash burgers made from the farm's own ewe meat and local produce. Hot and cold drinks are also available.

What you will find here: Welcome to visit Ulrika's small-scale ceramic workshop! The work will be ongoing during the day. Ulrika shows how the craft is done and her ceramics are for sale.
At 11.30, 13.00, 14.30 and 16.00 there is also the opportunity to try your hand at turning. Since there is only room for two people to try at a time, you need to pre-register by calling Ulrika at 07337490091 or emailing Enter your contact details and which shift you are interested in.
It costs SEK 150 per person, payable on site by swish. You get a lump of clay and guidance, the session lasts about 30 minutes and about half of it is effective time at the wheel. Immaculate clothing is recommended, an apron is available to borrow.
We do not have time to burn and glaze, but if you want Ulrika to do it for you afterwards, you can add 50 SEK and then you can come and pick up your work again after three or four weeks.

What you will find here: Hard working woman makes garden-related carpentry and organizes courses in carpentry and gardening. The farm shop sells arts, crafts and sheepskins.
In the Creative Round, Hard working woman is hosted by Aunt Yellow.

What you will find here: I show my workshop where I make my ceramics. You will be able to try making a small flower that I fire and glaze. My shop will be open where you can find all kinds of ceramics.
Try it out: You can try it out at 13.00 and 16.00. Maximum number of 8 people per occasion. Then you can make a small flower that I burn and glaze. Then you can pick it up when it is ready.
We will sit in the stables as we try our hand at making the flower so clothes according to the weather. ?

Welcome to an open day with a poetry garden, workshops, writing coaching and word games. In the evening, you are also welcome to the Poetry Slam in the barn. A whole day could easily disappear here, if you wanted to!

Creation takes place in the creative barn, and inspiration can be found in the garden under the apple trees. Check out the cozy writer's cottage, which can be booked for accommodation in combination with writing coaching.

NOTE: The forest road up to the farm is narrow and home to many wild animals, be careful when driving! It is also possible to walk about a kilometer from the large castle parking lot.

What you will find here: Exhibition by myself Gunilla Lundell, I work in watercolor, ceramics and mixed media. The exhibition will be about my creativity.
I have had a gallery in Kokkola since 1997 when the building was completed, workshop, studio and gallery with a café. The gallery is on two floors, the ground floor is handicapped accessible and so is the toilet.
Here you can try sculpting a face in ceramics, it will take 60 minutes. Sign up as below, I can take seven at a time.

Fee: The clay price, I will burn the clay so you can come here and pick it up, 100:- per kg, you get quite far with 2kg.

What you will find here: Tant Gul visits Hard working woman on the Creative Round. Aunt Yellow sews new things from worn items. Discarded curtains, tablecloths and clothes are given new life in the form of toiletries, lavender cushions and bags. Colors and patterns are combined based on what is in stock at the time - everything is unique.
Try it out: Continuous taster sessions throughout the day, where you can sew a fruit bag.

What you will find here: The old station house is not to be missed, located in the middle of Grillby, right next to the railroad. It now houses Tantverket, a group of women with a common interest in crafts. It is a meeting point and meeting place, but also a living workshop and, not least, a second-hand shop. Here you will find our own crafts, sewn, knitted, crocheted, woven and woodwork.
Try it out: Carding, spinning, knitting, crocheting, lace making and needle felting.

Karin Gillberg art and illustration, Konst Boden

What you will find here: Here you can visit Karin Gillberg's "Konst Boden", the small art shop in the countryside. There are original paintings in watercolor, postcards and mugs with prints of Karin's paintings. The mugs include her own fantasy animal, the Melon Penguin.
