The Fjärdhundraland tour is our cycle route through the core of our area. It is 38 km long and runs between Fjärdhundra and Örsundsbro, on nice roads with good opportunities for coffee breaks, detours or a swim. You are also close to several other destinations in Fjärdhundraland, so you can use the trail as a base for your own route.
The trail is mostly on asphalt, but also has a few kilometers on lightly cycled dirt road. If you want 100% asphalt there is one alternative route here.

A bike ride near Uppsala, Stockholm, Sala and Västerås
The route starts and ends at a bus stop. You can bring your bike on board on the buses subject to location - bus 804 to Örsundsbro and 225 to Fjärdhundra.
From Västerås you can take the road via Tortuna towards Kärsta / Bred and follow the signs towards Fjärdhundra just after Sagån.
From Stockholm you can take the bike on the commuter train against Bålsta. If you want to cycle far, there are nice roads from Kungsängen as well. Mälardalsleden runs from Stockholm via Kungsängen and Bålsta to Örsundsbro where it connects to Fjärdhundralandsturen.
From Dalarna, the Fjärdhundraland tour is another way to bond Sverigeleden with Mälardalsleden and cycle to Stockholm and beyond.
