Learn to tie your own beautiful Christmas wreaths - Course December 1

A warm welcome to our inspiring Christmas wreath making course!

 

Christmas is slowly approaching and what could be more atmospheric than making your own beautiful Christmas wreath? Maybe also an opportunity to make a beautiful gift for someone you appreciate. On our course, you will learn everything you need to tie a personalized and unique Christmas wreath to adorn your home. The course is led by the experienced and creative wreath maker Mikaela Odlander who, with an inspiring pedagogy, helps you find your own expression.

 

What you will learn:

- Basic techniques: We go through the basic techniques of tying a wreath and show examples of different styles to be inspired by.

- Material selection: Learn which materials are best suited for Christmas wreaths and how to combine them to create a harmonious and beautiful wreath.

- Decoration: Discover different ways to decorate your wreath with ribbons, pine cones, berries and other Christmassy details.

 

Location and times

The course is held at the charming and rurally located conference farm Herresta Lada in Odensala between Stockholm and Uppsala. We will meet on Sunday, December 1 between 13.00 and 16.00. During the session we have a short break where we offer mulled wine and gingerbread.

 

Price and registration

The price of the course is 895 SEK. All the materials you need to make your wreath are included in the course price so all you need to bring is your curiosity, creativity and Christmas spirit. The value of the material alone for a wreath amounts to about SEK 400.

To ensure that all participants have the opportunity for personalized guidance and support, we are limiting the number of participants on this course, so be sure to register early to guarantee your place. More about the trainer

Mikaela Odlander has been involved in crafts all her life. When she took a course similar to this one many years ago, she became interested in flower arranging and has since continued to train in the field. She holds courses in everything from bouquet tying to table arrangements and wreath tying, and is a popular choice for flower arrangements for events such as weddings and funerals. "Tying flowers requires some basic technical knowledge but once you have it, there is nothing but your imagination that sets limits to what exciting things you can create!" Mikaela says.
