KFUM Heby is a youth association with an office and meeting point on a grain farm in the beautiful countryside of Sör Hårsbäck, 7-8 km south of Heby. Hårsbäcksdalens nature reserve runs through the agricultural property and is a few minutes walk away.
The association, which is affiliated with KFUM Sweden, aims to offer youth and young adults a meaningful leisure time with a special focus on education and leadership training.
From time to time during the summer months, the association has a flea market in and around the old barn, with lots of donated items - large and small. A simple café and lottery and often other activities, such as a quiz walk, make it a nice place to hang out whether you are interested in finding flea market items or not.
The association works on the principle that people need three parts to feel good and develop: Body, Mind and Spirit. This is done through physical activities, knowledge and education as well as mental well-being and the opportunity to find one's place in life. The association tries to organize things that the members request, right now it includes Friday football, board training and a girls' group. The farm in Sör Hårsbäck has a beach volleyball court and a nature trail in the forest. There are also various member activities such as barbecue and chill on Saturdays during the summer.
