Welcome to Fjärdhundraland in midsummer! When nature is at its most beautiful, we invite you to Tuva and Täppa, the tour for those interested in farming and gardening, or just enjoying nature over a cup of coffee.
Take a walk along the winding roads, smell the freshly cut hay and enjoy nature's floral splendor! Here you'll find everything from twisted hop nests to gardening aprons, beautiful display gardens, vegetable gardens, cafés and garden-themed farm shops and more.
Tuva & Stuff is a rural garden tour between Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås, Sala, Enköping and Strängnäs.

2 An Angel In My Home

A romantic Swedish cottage garden with hundreds of different roses, clematis and peonies. There are also many beds with old-fashioned granny ferns. The garden is about 6000 square meters and is divided into several different garden rooms that are separated by portals with creepers, walls, planks and hedges. There is also a large kitchen garden with a greenhouse, a cutting garden and an herb garden. The centerpiece of the garden is two large Constance Spry that lead into a walled patio. There are also many seats to sit down and enjoy a coffee. Landscaped gravel areas and flower beds act as room dividers. New projects for this year are a tunnel greenhouse and a new cutting garden. Guided tours: The guided tours start at the flagpole every half hour. The tour costs 100 SEK.

7 Ekolsund Castle & Inn
Address: Ekolsunds slottsallé 1-2, Ekolsund
Ekolsund Castle, where Gustav III spent the happiest time of his youth. The castle park is unique in its kind and covers 400 years of garden history. During your visit, take the opportunity to go on a guided tour of the castle's tree collection, which includes over 180 species, visit the kitchen garden where the gardener is on hand to answer your questions about the castle's crops, and enjoy lunch or coffee at the castle's summer café. Welcome to the castle!
Guided tours: Arboretum tour at 14:00. The tour takes about 2 hours and costs 200 SEK per person. Registration takes place at the cash register at the summer café.

8 Golden Wells
Address: Frösthults-Brunnby 11, Fjärdhundra
Forestry experience. A 1.5 km trail with information boards where the trees tell their own story. There are rest areas (perfect stops for coffee from your own picnic basket) and hammocks to lie in to enjoy the silence and watch the pine trees sway.
Guided tours Guided tours at 11:00 and 14:00. The forest owner Calle conveys the trees' story about the history of the forest and their importance for sustainability and climate. The forest walk is about 1.5 km and takes about 2 hours including coffee. Fee per person 50 SEK. To be booked in advance by Thursday, June 15 at the following address link

9 Gäddeholm garden

In the manor environment at Gäddeholm, a few miles outside of Västerås, you will find Gäddeholm's garden. At the old gardener's residence from the mid-1800s, trees, shrubs, roses, perennials and seasonal flowers are for sale. In the greenhouse, cut flowers are tied for parties, weddings and funerals.

10 Hard working woman

Here you can stroll around the "Hambytantens torparträdgård", i.e. my private garden, and be inspired by carpentry and cultivation! The carpentry workshop is open, so be sure to check it out. Around the workshop and in the garden you will find most of my products. Some are made to order, but many can be bought directly on site!
At the end of the day, 15:30-17:00, there will be musical entertainment from the garden stage. A
bouquet of local musicians offer summery tunes!

11 Hjältberga farm

swim in the pond. However, it is fine for them to dip their paws in the shoreline.

Welcome to Kajsa Karins Diversehandel in grandpa's barn!
Here you'll find everything from heaven to earth: old tools, vintage clothes, ceramic flowers, garden sponges, goose egg soaps, old-fashioned bonades and more.
There is a flea market in the mill building.
In the lodge and on the barn hill, Rosa sells perennials from her own garden, chili plants, broad bean plants, squash plants, etc. You can also buy marigold ointment, pine oil, dried herbs and mushrooms.
Aunt Yellow has a collection of newly sewn items with a focus on greenery. You can buy gardening aprons, toiletry bags, lavender cushions and bags. Everything is made from recycled curtains, tablecloths, clothes and other textiles. If you want, you can sit down for a while and make your own card from books, yarn and beads.
You can also check out our 12m long greenhouse, maybe sit down for a while with a cup of coffee.

What happens at my place? You will have to say hello to the horses when you go in to see them.

16 Juliana's Wedding and Garden

A garden where you can stroll around and look at beds in shades of blue, white, burgundy, pink or grandma's bed on both sides of the gravel path. We also have a cut flower farm you can look at and we can also talk flowers for your wedding and party in 2023 or 2024 and sign up for self-picking.
Serving: Served in the garden. Coffee or juice with cake. Waffle or Vegan waffle with jam and cream.
Sales: In our greenhouse you will find outdoor furniture, plants and bouquets.

17 Jädra Prästgård

Jädra Prästgård is a small-scale farm with diversity at its core. Here you will have the opportunity to see how we grow old cultural varieties of cereals, hear how green manure works and look at our newly created wetland. You can also look into our new processing room where we grind flour and press oil.

I have a gallery where there are exhibitions and a café... My garden is constantly changing, new ideas are born, plants are moved, to be seen or to thrive better. I work with different rooms where there are sculptures that I have created over the years. There are many guardians in my garden, but they are nice ones. I am interested in different plants, herbs and plant magic A pond with fish is a must for a good environment for plants and insects, even bees have their home here.

Guided garden walk Welcome to a guided tour of my garden. I will take you on a tour among roses, secret rooms and colorful flower beds. I show you my sky mirrors, my stone ruin and my shade grove. You will be guided through my cheerful vegetables, you will visit my wooden greenhouse and you will probably meet a snail or two. I tell you about how the garden is planned, which plants I have chosen, how I have created form and structure, how I work with colors in different shades. I talk about the mistakes I have made and what has been helpful. I talk about how I set up a new garden and how I take care of my faithful servants. The tour takes place every hour and lasts about 45 minutes, and costs SEK 100. Afterwards, you can roam freely in the garden or sit down in a garden group with a cup of coffee and a cake. The farm shop's cozy garden with a fantastic peaceful view of the meadows and river. The meadow below the shop you have the opportunity to see the neighbor's beautiful long-haired Highland cattle bulls and the river's bird life. In the garden there are plenty of seats to enjoy delicious Rättviksglass with Belgian waffles from our small café. Leashed dogs also welcome.
Serving: The farm café offers Rättviksglass with Belgian waffles or just ice cream, coffee/tea and drinks.

Welcome to our garden and our crops. The garden is divided by hedges and consists of various trees, roses, perennials and summer flowers. This year's project consists of expanding the growing beds of both more vegetables, summer flowers and dahlias. There is a pond with goldfish that will also benefit our bees. Chickens are available for the little ones.
Guided tours: Guided tours every hour. Husband shows how the pond is constructed. Pia shows you around among the flowers and leaves.

Our venture into demonstration farming with both a kitchen garden and a newly created park is starting to take shape. Arable land and an old pigsty in total change. Walk around and get inspired and visit our farm shop for coffee/hot lunch and buy gardening tools from By Bensson.
Guided tours: Walk in the apple orchard at 11 a.m. Walk in the vegetable orchard at 1 p.m. Walk in the park Vägskäl at 2 p.m.
Serving: We have an organic café with an espresso machine where you get a latte/cappuccino made from our own milk, of course. We make all our own pastries. For the hungry, there are our own craft sausages to grill or the weekend's hot lunch prepared by our fantastic chef.

Solkulla Matskog is a beautifully designed villa plot with an interplay between perennial edible vegetables and traditional plants.
Winding paths take you through the plot where trees, shrubs, creepers, flowers, vegetables and root crops combine to create an edible forest.
Diversity and permaculture are at the heart of whatever I create here.
Guided tours: You get the most out of your visit if you take a guided tour every half hour, where I tell you about the different perennial plants. Cost 50:-
Serving: Outside, you can buy a hearty stew made from local produce, or have a coffee on one of the small seats we have scattered around the garden.

Gamla Skolgården in Tärna is open for visits in the beautiful environment near the church. Newly restored buildings built in the 1700s and early 1800s with surrounding garden and apple meadow.
Open tours of the Reuterwall school garden. Also plant walk in Tärna with your own car, where we get to see some rare plants led by Karl-Gunnar Källebrink. Limited number of places.
